Anthotype Emulsion Vol. 3 "Blue Cotton"

The collective research from experiemental photographers on World Anthotype Day 2024 organized by the Alternative Photography Organization @alternativephotography_com. The mission was to try to find an unusual emulsion and help grow the database of anthotype emulsions. This edition featured 135 artist from all around the world, 31 countries participated, of course Ecuador and the Galapagos islands was presenting the work "Blue cotton". This anthotye was made with Madagascar periwinkle and was exposed for 24 hours over 6 days. This year the substrate was also different, the paper used for "Blue Cotton" was a handmade paper made with sigse waste. The sigse is a type of Andean Bamboo. Although the image did not have a relevant contrast, the experimentation always takes you to more ideas to keep experimenting.
